Ms. Hatcher Turns Up The Heat...

Sure, she's dating Ryan Seacrest (who in the hell cooked that up anyway?) and she might be two pounds shy of a stick figure, but apparently this Desperate Housewife isn't as desperate for a homecooked meal as one might think. Yes, Teri's a bit of a chef in her own right. And a pretty good one from what I hear. Gee, I knew there was a reason why I liked her. :)

    Teri's Cheater Gourmet Brownies

    RECIPE INGREDIENTS

One package Duncan Hines Brownie mix or other brand
    1/2 cup melted butter
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup water, ice cold
    3 tablespoons milk
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup of soft gourmet chocolate
    1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

    RECIPE METHOD

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Blend all ingredients together easily on medium speed, for two minutes. Fold in 3/4 cup of soft gourmet chocolate (I use cabernet flavored dark truffles). For extra decadence, break apart any milk chocolate bar into small pieces and add that too. For nutty folks, add 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

    Using a 13 x 9 pan, bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 22 to 28 minutes.
