    Casting Call

‘You’re The One That I Want’

NBC searches for the stars of the new Broadway production of Grease in its talent competition series ‘You’re The One That I Want’.

Do your undiscovered singing, acting and dancing talents deserve the bright lights of Broadway? Are you Hopelessly Devoted to Grease and Born To Hand Jive?

The winners of NBC’s new talent show ‘You’re The One That I Want’ will be launched into stardom to play the lead roles of Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko in a new Broadway production of the musical “Grease” to debut in June 2007. This is your chance to show America that you’ve got what it takes in the biggest open call auditions in Broadway history.

Candidates are asked to be prepared with two songs: one from a selected list of “Grease” songs and the second can be any non-“Grease” song of their choice. Prospective participants can visit NBC.com for further details and a complete list of approved “Grease” songs -- including some other suggestions from the era. The first to arrive in line will be given priority wristbands and guaranteed to be seen by the casting producers; however, those not receiving wristbands will be allowed to audition if time allows (access dependent upon location turnout).

Casting calls will be held in the following locations:
