Progress Photos - October 2009 (-71 pounds)

My cute dress is courtesy of Faith21. You can find this and a nice selection of figure friendly dresses for the plus size woman at
www.forever21.com.
I'm wearing a size 16 here. (Yay--I nearly clicked my heels when it fit!) It's a tad snug in the bust (I'm technically a size 18 and I'm not sure this is the best dress for top heavy gals like myself). I'm giving it 10 more pounds however -- I think it'll fit perfectly in a month or so.

I've recently started roasting fresh figs in the toaster oven. They're quick, easy to prepare and so so sweet. I sprinkle a little feta cheese and some chopped walnuts on top. Delicious!

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place figs on the sheet (seed side up). Bake until figs are softened and slightly liquidy (approximately 8-10 minutes). Allow figs to cool, and transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle on feta cheese and walnuts. Enjoy!
